lost life ended missing (06/08/2006)

"The second you started breathing is when you started to die. You've been dying all this time, so why are you afraid now?"

Shivers in the dark. Coughs. Wheezes.

"Don't worry."

Teeth chatter. Click. Moan.

"In a sense, this would've happened anyway."

And the sounds of death are just like life. There wasn't a single thought. It felt as though I was braindead for awhilef. Then I realised I had forgotten what was I doing at the time. When I tried to remember, all I could remember was that I had forgotten.

Sunlight punctured the clouds, but the clouds didn't want to die. There was no reflection.

If the word "killed" killed itself, the remains would be a "kid."
