        And I was too far away from the shelters as random gunfire and explosions became the world. I watched everyone run into the shelters and watched the entrance close shut on so many people. And then the ground shook, the shelter flashed, and turned to smoke, almost like a trick in a magic show, but instead of cheers and applause there were screams and moans. Bodies emerged from smoke and my ears no longer wanted to hear. And for a moment, everything doubled and my vision of everything was failing. The ground was shaking silently and I felt a sharp pain in my chest. Blood came out of my mouth and flew on the sidewalk. I closed my eyes and never opened them again.
