So this place is on a new server, maybe 4-5 meters away from the old server. Yay. Hopefully everything works though. I call this the testing phase.

Watched the second episode of Black Cat. It's loosely based on the manga. So many things that aren't accurate, but I can see why. The great part is that there isn't much filler, it's fast paced, and there still are subtle moments, but nothing really boring. And that's just fine by me.

So lets see what I've been listening to. Lots of old stuff. Like Sparklehorse's Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot. And Destroyer's Theif. Plus some new stuff. Like Page France's Hello, Dear Wind. And Supergrass' Road to Rouen, although their Maida Vale session gets more listens. Finally got Broadcast's Tender Buttons out of my head last week. When I get tired of voices, I've been listening to Boards of Canada's Boc Maxima, along with their new album The Campfire Headphase, which has nice artwork. Also Evan Valentine's Safety Glass EP, Melodium's La Tete Qui Flotte, and snippets of Hectopascal's Anywhere and Me. Wow. I really can't sleep.

Did I say I can't sleep? Wow. I'm also sobering up from drinking a bit too much. Anyhow, this site is in process of moving, an excuse not to update. No longer runing on a database, but it doesn't matter, since I never programmed a search function. Heh. I'm lazy. But sometimes I don't think so because I often see much lazier people. That's bad.

Also started watching Black Cat. I enjoyed reading the manga, and even though the ending is cliche in the manga, it still is good. The anime, however, begins a lot before the manga does though, in regards with the timeline of the story. Kinda disappointed, but I understand why they choose to do this. The animation is great though. Take that Studio Pierrot and your stupid conversions of Naruto and Bleach. Then again, Studio Gonzo still has the chance to mess up Black Cat. I hope they don't though.

Can't sleep. So I ended up downloading a theatre recording of the Fullmetal Alchemist movie. Still waiting for the DVD version to come out in Japan. Damn. But it's a really good movie. I just knew that they would mess up the ending. I am so disappointed in the ending. It is a good ending though, just not better than how the tv series ended, which was really good. And it should've been better. Or on par at least.

So I settled for Gentoo Linux. Even though it takes forever to set up. Forever. But it just has more control, and can actually get through an installation, unlike mainstream Linux distributions. So I shouldn't complain. Shouldn't. Heh.

I'd cry out for help but I don't think I deserve it. Anyhow, trying to install Fedora Core 4 on a compy right now. It takes so long. I'm not sure if the compy froze or not, but just before I'm about to reboot it, the screen updates, but now, I'm not sure. The hard drive light is on, so I guess it's writting data. I don't remember installations taking this long though. Or maybe it's late. Oh well.

I wonder. Nevermind. Another short, calle liar, not very good, but partly true, except that I never got questioned.

rid @ Fri 19 Aug 2005 7:57 pm:
Taking a break off of programming. Keeps my mind off a lot of things. Strange, how quickly everything comes back to mind when I stop coding. Wrote another story, dissolve, which is not so good. I don't know. That's what I think. I think I think I think I think too much.
